Sinn Sisamouth was the "King of Khmer Music" and one of the most prolific and popular Cambodian singers and songwriters of the 20th century. He recorded over 1,000 songs during his career and is considered the greatest Cambodian artist of all time. His music blended traditional Khmer melodies with Western influences including rock, jazz, and Latin rhythms. He was killed during the Khmer Rouge regime.
