VeRich is a singer, songwriter, producer and all-around musician creating original tracks with a signature concoction of sound he describes as “electronic-RnB-soul, with a splash of hip hop”
Based out of Seattle, VeRich started his musical journey by driving out “into the boonies” to write to beats that his cousins produced in a makeshift studio trailer. Those sessions gave him the bones of production and taught him how to construct songs. He cites Cambodian Khmer oldies influences on his melodies – which gives them that unique spin – as well Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and Usher, to name a few. His first single ‘Reality’ was released last year complete with a killer video – you can check it out on verichvibe.com (under construction, but the music’s all there).
VeRich performs with a four-piece band called ‘Tragic Clam’; the band brings his songs to life (and throws a rock element into the mix for good measure). Performing with the band is a “dream turned reality” for VeRich. He wants to turn his focus full-time to music — touring, writing, and working with other talented artists. He seeks the creative expression that music gives, and isn’t afraid to “grind now, shine later” to get that music out there and into the ears of listeners around the world.
With an EP release party and show coming up (December 1st , mark your calendar) VeRich is making it happen for himself. “Progress excites me”, he says, and listening to what he’s created, that energy translates flawlessly into his music.
