I will never buy another laptop, desktop, or tablet with the Windows 10  operating system. I had two bad experiences with the annoying forced updates which wrecked one laptop and the other was rendered useless because it got stuck in a reboot loop. My device was working fine until Windows did their random updates, something you can’t opt out of. Fortunately for me I still have two  older laptops that run off of Windows 7. This edition allows the user to disable any software updates indefinitely. On the downside, the hardware and features are a little dated and slow. But the damn thing works like a charm.

Have sex with 4 different girls in one day. I regretted it and I am sure 100% that I will never do it again. Plus I’m happily married with two amazing boys. Yeah go ahead and judge me lol people change.

Wow 4 in one day. Did you get tested soon after? lol j/k. Here I thought 1 four times in one sitting was some achievement. I got to go back to the drawing board and aim higher lol.

You can load it with different operating system or even choose dual-booting as an option. Best practice for Windows machines, never use their pre-installs. Always do a clean install of your own that way you know it’s clean and not littered with crapware or potential Chinese backdoors. As for tablets, avoid Windows. A fire tablet is inexpensive if you’re doing basic things. Macs are versatile, but a littler pricier.

For me it was preparing my mindset 5 months in advance. I told myself, “smoke and drink all you want but when this day come you’ll have to put down everything!” Been trying to quit for five years and I finally did it. I think it had to with just programming your mindset. That’s what I didn’t do the last 4 years lol. Going M.I.A helped big time cuz the homies ain’t going to help for nothing lol. Overall it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. Feeling more energetic, my mind ain’t foggy. I can actually taste and breath better now lol..it’s kinda funny scrolling through snap chat and all these girls just waving their Henny Bottles. I’m like dayum y’all hella basic lol.

Fighting against my senses to prove a point.  I ended up losing the motivation to fight.  The point I thought I was going to make ended up being null and void.  A rapper onced rapped that “every dog has his day.”

When my time came there was less importance on proving my point as there was to “get everything over and done with.” Yes, I’m talking about receiving a jail sentence.  Thankfully, I have citizenship, otherwise I may have been deported.

Smoke a cigarette. I tried it once at 7-ish years old and almost died. Never ever again smoking anything.

I’ve bought a very nice computer from a liquidator company for the likes for $60 all equipped in a small form factor with an i3 3240.  Yes I lowballed but I wanted to see what performance I could get from it.  To start, I slapped a 120 GB solid state drive to boot but keep in mind I don’t have an operating system since they wanted to charge whatever keeps them afloat.  My first choice was to make it a Hackintosh so I invested in a 16 GB Flashdrive from Sandisk for $4.99 to get it going seeing as I own a Mac computer.  Next to run it just to see how it performs, I installed Ubuntu from the Linux Distrobutions and that baby works like a charm.  Sad thing is the commercial factor limits it to what is supported.  Back to sqaure one.  I put Windows 10 on it using my Flashdrive to install, installed a Hybrid drive which is a mix of an SSD and harddrive as a secondary and BAM, I just made magic.  Acquired a GT 1030, upped the voltage and overclocked it to +250 core  plus +850 memory ram and bam! I’m now running XBOX games on a cheapy setup way faster than an XBOX Console can originally run on a console setup.  Plug in a third party controller with rumble and you wouldn’t notice the difference.  Don’t diss Windows 10 and opt in to become a beta tester.  They’re more than welcome to take on new breed.

I don’t build computers. I just expect it to work like advertised, out of the box. I lost money on a Windows 10 laptop and so did many people. Never again. I currently have a Windows 7 laptop that I bought second hand and it works like a charm. I can totally disable the useless updates and be happy with my purchase.

I love my Hackintosh when it works, most of the time. I ran into an issue recently trying to SSH into my box and the screen didn’t show up but in the terminal it said it was up. Lo and behold, drivers needed to be updated. The latest Hackintosh builds are phasing out NVidia cards FYI and going to ATI.

I had that problem and couldn’t boot. Fortunately had backups. So yes, this is a big problem..but people should always always always backup. It should be expected that you’ll eventually have booting problems with any device and I had to factory set my android phone many times, though I don’t think it was unbootable at one point..just sluggish.

I don’t think Windows 10 is bad enough to never buy it. The price is more than enough to keep continuing. At the end of the day, you have to back up your stuff.

I understand what you’re saying but a backup will not prevent the updates from happening. When Microsoft updates their Windows 10 with the latest fixes and features, the manufacturer of the laptop/computer have to also update their component drivers to match the new Windows specifications. All of this is suppose to occur behind the scene so that the user can have peace of mind knowing they have a quality product but sadly it isn’t so. Microsoft is not responsible for the computer end only the software end. PC manufactures pay a licensing fee to use Windows OS. All in all Windows lock people in by removing the ability to decline automatic updates. Windows 7 is old but it allows the opt out feature.

I think it’s a reasonable request to be able to update whenever you want…but in that case, most people will never update. I think Microsoft rather have people complaining that they are trying to secure people’s computers than to have people complain that they didn’t try to.

Good answer! I’ve been reading a lot of Creepypastas although just a waste of my time, it’s brought me insight of people’s stories, sometimes fact and sometimes fictional that I wouldn’t want to go through this ordeal again. Many variables are involved in one lifetime that makes you wonder, “I thought I’d never see that” and yes I agree some people step out of line even in turn to cause one another’s death.  Life is a strange thing that makes you witness these things that you’ll never want to see again but straying away from topic. Once is enough.
