The Cambodian team that won the gold medal in petanque-triples women
Petanque did not disappoint, with Cambodia winning another gold medal in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games courtesy of the sport.
A Cambodian team composed of Sreng Sorakhim, Khoun Yary and Duong Dina beat their counterparts from Malaysia (Senin Nurashimah, Musa Fur Farah Hana and Edie Sufiqriyani) in the Triples Women category to bag the Kingdom's second gold in the regional sports competition.
Cambodia prevented what could have been a sweep for Malaysia in the Triples competition. Malaysia won the gold in Triples Men after edging Thailand, 13-11, in the finals.
Bokator master Hong Mengly won the first gold medal for Cambodia two days ago.
