Monk in Vietnam helps preserve Khmer culture

In a small province in the Mekong Delta, Monk Ha Van Phung goes out of his way to help people in his hometown of Kien Giang, Vietnam also known by it’s Khmer name, Kramoun Sar. He built the first concrete bridge in the area connecting two sides of a canal to help provide better transportation to the locals. During the summer he opens a Khmer language class to teach around 200 students in an effort to help preserve Khmer culture.
