Cambodian Children’s Fund Khmer New Year 2019: The Journey Home

24 tonnes of rice, 626 pairs of Toms-Shoes and months of planning ensure that our students can have a happy and safe Khmer New Year.

The journey home for Khmer New Year not always been easy. For many, returning to their homeland was simply too expensive.

But thanks to the hard work of CCF staff and the generosity of donors and sponsors, all of our students and families have the opportunity to celebrate this important tradition with their loved ones in the province.

Since 2004, Cambodian Children's Fund has been providing life-changing education and assistance to some of the most impoverished communities in Cambodia. Founded by Scott Neeson, CCF began with 45 children and now has almost 2000 students and a vibrant community. Through six core program's, CCF transforms children into tomorrow's leaders with the belief that with the right education and support, one child can lift their family out of poverty. And a generation of educated children has the power to change a community and a society.
